Floral displays, workshops and community events in support of cathedral restoration
St Carthage’s Cathedral, Lismore, will come alive with colour and creativity this August as the Sustainable Flower Festival returns with the theme “Nature and Heritage”. Taking place from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August, the festival offers a weekend of floral artistry, expert demonstrations, workshops, and garden-inspired activities – all in support of the Cathedral Restoration Fund.
Festival visitors can enjoy spectacular flower displays inside the historic cathedral: Friday 2.00pm – 5.00pm
Saturday and Sunday 10.00am – 5.00pm
Admission is €10, with proceeds supporting the ongoing conservation of this cherished Church of Ireland landmark.

Join award-winning florist Vivienne Brophy for a hands-on workshop focused on creating summer vases and posies using the spiral method. All flowers, foliage and refreshments provided. Bring a favourite vase if you wish.
