There will be no service at any of the churches until further notice.
Dear friends, as we often reflect…church is not a building it is people. The wave of prayer, worship and service continues as we experience togetherness in our prayers, though apart physically.
There are many resources we can use and they will be put up here and circulated shortly. The church in Stradbally and the Cathedral remain open for quietness and much needed prayer. Prayer resources and candles will be available in Saint Carthage’s on Sunday and following days.
Pastoral care and community awareness need to be creative, sensitive and co-ordinated. Plans for this are underway.
Do keep checking the website, group e-mails and texts. (We only contact those we have permission to contact due to GDPR but if you know someone who should be on our list, particularly at this time, then seek their consent, and get them to contact me or Diana Dungan/Hon.Sec).
Take care and God Bless. Dean Paul & Canon George
PASTRORAL & COMMUNITY CARE
We need to be creative in how we keep in touch with those who are unwell, alone or vulnerable.
The clergy can be telephoned at 058-54105 (The Dean) and at 051-399699 (Canon Cliffe) and appropriate care will be arranged.
We will post updates here as well as resources for daily prayer and a Sunday service for use at home.
